Transitions: Navigating Change – ‘Belief In An Unchanging God’ – by David Banks

Transitions are a part of life. Whether positive or negative, change is constant in the human experience. Is this also true for spiritual beliefs? Have your beliefs changed throughout your life? How has your understanding of God and your patterns of observance changed over the past 5, 10, even 50 years? In Hebrews, we are told that we serve an “unchanging” God who is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Paul also provides counsel that believers will need to “mature” their faith and build upon a strong “foundation.” How do we best reconcile an unchanging God with a human experience that is constantly changing?
