Today on the podcast, I have an interview with Grace Lin. Grace Lin is an award-winning and NY Times bestselling author/illustrator of picture books, early readers, and middle-grade novels including her Newbery Honor novel WHERE THE MOUNTAIN MEETS THE MOON and her Caldecott Honor picturebook A BIG MOONCAKE FOR LITTLE STAR. In 2016, Grace's art was displayed at the White House, and President Obama's office recognized Grace herself as a Champion of Change for Asian American and Pacific Islander Art and Storytelling. Today on the podcast we meet Grace and listen to her story-telling as we discuss her recently published book "Chinese Menu" which tells the myths and legends behind your favorite Chinese restaurant dishes and what actually makes this food American.
