Ladd Rutherford and I have been friends for a long time.  We met in Junior High in Bozeman, Montana in the early '90s and shortly thereafter formed our first band together, V.B.G.  We were immersed in death metal and grindcore in the heyday of the genres and melded some of our favorite bands in our first musical enterprise.

In this first installment of several, we take a look at the music we made together as we escape to a remote village on a peninsula in the Pacific Ocean and examined V.B.G.'s first demo, "Staff Infection." 

Join us as we listen to the music of our past; the forgotten gems, the embarrassing failures and the rekindled memories... and beer, rare lamb and more beer.
