EPISODE 276: Interview with Bethany Snyder & Kris Maul. Bethany Snyder and Kris Maul are a queer couple living in Urbandale, Iowa with their amazing 14-year-old kiddo and adorable pets. Bethany grew up in Altoona and attended the University of Iowa, while Kris was born in Illinois and moved to the Madison, WI area in middle school. They have lived all over the country from Washington, DC, to Minneapolis, and Northern California, before moving to Iowa in 2019.
