Shortly after the arrival of 115ish Londoners in 1587 to the modern day Outer Banks of North Carolina, their governor returned to England to retrieve more supplies. But after getting stuck in England for almost 3 years longer than he intended, he finally returned to the Americas only to find that the colonists had vanished never to be seen or heard from again.
