In the fall of 1979 a young nurse’s aid in a small town in Missouri never showed up for her shift at work one morning. Family immediately reported her missing, and she was never seen or heard from again. For over a decade her family, police, and the public would not have a real answer in her case since there was never any physical evidence recovered. Even so, almost everyone had a pretty good idea of what happened all those years ago.

A young college couple is on a summer trip back home when they decide to take a drive to a secluded area outside of Dallas to get a little privacy one night. But their time alone doesn’t last long when they become the prey of a lifetime criminal after a chance encounter.

We still don’t know for sure what happened to Elisa Lam in her final hours of life and how she ended up where she did.
