In the fall of 1979 a young nurse’s aid in a small town in Missouri never showed up for her shift at work one morning. Family immediately reported her missing, and she was never seen or heard from again. For over a decade her family, police, and the public would not have a real answer in her case since there was never any physical evidence recovered. Even so, almost everyone had a pretty good idea of what happened all those years ago.

A young college couple is on a summer trip back home when they decide to take a drive to a secluded area outside of Dallas to get a little privacy one night. But their time alone doesn’t last long when they become the prey of a lifetime criminal after a chance encounter.

Today’s episode is the second half of the horrific case of one of New York’s worst automobile accidents. In it we are really digging into the aftermath of the crash and the family of Diane desperately trying to make sense of it all. After a fun family weekend of camping in July 2009, a New York “super mom” trying to drive her family back home ends up entering the highway on an exit ramp, driving the wrong way at full speed after a series of bizarre phone calls. Her exact movements and headspace to this day are a mystery to her family, friends, and a shocked public who may never have answers…or at least the answers they are hoping for.

An 18 year old working and saving for college in a sleepy Alaskan town goes missing mysteriously in the Fall of 1991. What happened to her seems almost unsolvable with absolutely no physical evidence or real clues left that can help point the authorities in any real direction until someone who’d recently been in contact with her slips up.

Pauline Parker and Juliet Hulme became BFFs in 1950s New Zealand when they bonded over similar childhood experiences. As teenage girls they quickly grew to be inseparable to the point that they would do anything to make sure no one and nothing could tear them apart.

Fair warning, this episode is A LOT to say the very least. Today we’re telling you about a supposed military sanctioned experiment that took place in the Soviet Union more than 70 years ago. The disappearance of a young Canadian college student first baffled the world. But footage from the infamous Cecil Hotel in downtown Los Angeles that captured her strange behavior the last day she was seen only further troubled the authorities and the public. Her eventual discovery later would only add to the mystery which still has everyone scratching their heads today almost 10 years later. We still don’t know for sure what happened to Elisa Lam in her final hours of life and how she ended up where she did. But after getting stuck in England for almost 3 years longer than he intended, he finally returned to the Americas only to find that the colonists had vanished never to be seen or heard from again.
