In 2009, Anita's life took a dramatic turn when, as executrix of a dear friend’s estate, she and her son Christopher were confronted with severe poltergeist and other unexpected paranormal activity while cleaning out the estate. In January of 2009, her life took a dramatic turn when, as executrix of a dear friend’s estate, she became involved with the paranormal. As executrix, she was responsible for clearing his house and selling it. It did not take long after she began that task that Anita experienced real and often-frightening poltergeist activity there and soon began confronting true evil.  So profoundly changed by these experiences Anita became an author and wrote a successful debut book, ESTATE OF HORROR: A True Story of Haunting Hatred and a Horrific Family Secret, followed by her terrifying sequel, DARK TRANSFERENCE. Anita’s books were the inspiration behind the episode "Portal of Doom" on A HAUNTING TV Show that aired on Destination America in December, 2014. That episode also featured their dear friend and world-renowned Deliverance Minister Bill Bean.
