In this episode we travel to South Australia to The Onkaparinga River to review what was the the toughest round that I have reported on so far.
This round was sponsored by Pro Lure Australia.
Big bream was sponsored by Berley Pro!
In this system they have an event locally known as "The Bloodworm Run. " Did this contribute to fishing being very tough?
First up I spoke with Sean Person. Sean is a local angler who has had good sucess in the Bream tournament scene. Tune in to see how he caught his fish.
In second place was Josh Bland who has also had some good sucuess in the Bream master Series. As you will hear, this was a really tough round and Josh was able to take out big bream with a cracking Bream over a kilo. Josh was very close to first place and gives a great account of his day.
In first place, backing it up his win from the previous Onkaparinga round in 2021 was Ryan Ottens. Ryan didn’t get a chance to pre fish and used his experience on this system to find the fish. Ryan had some gear failure which resrticted his movements, but still managed to grind out a win. Ryan has a favourite type of lure he uses a lot of the time, tune in to see what he used to take the win!
