Our Lone Star story of the day: In Harris County speech, Governor Abbott hints at a possible special session call to attack taxpayer-funded lobbying as, once again, even a watered down bill didn’t get out of the Texas House.
And, the Republican Party of Texas is planning to push forward with a “closed” primary which would require advance registration in order to vote. Officials concede the matter will likely end up in court.
