On July 1st, 2013, on a residential street in Saginaw, Texas, the body of a young girl was discovered under a tarp. The body belonged  to 6-year-old Alanna Gallagher, who had been missing for just hours. Just over two weeks later, the car belonging to Alanna’s parents was set on fire, as was a memorial for Alanna. What happened to this young girl shook the small town of Saginaw, a tragedy that would be exacerbated when it was determined what happened to the young girl.
