The older I've gotten, the more intentional I am with the people I let into my circle across the board; work, friendships, relationships and acquaintances. Once they are in, I build each of those relationships on respect and loyalty while expecting the same energy in return. Remember if you want people to respect you and genuinely be there for you, you need to give off that same genuine energy. Good people are attracted to good people. Respect is attracted to respect. Lead and embody this energy in every way! And if the person on the other side is not reciprocating that same energy, remove them from the circle. They will then be matched with others with the same negativity.
