As we bring this show out there's five more sleeps till the Whitecaps kick off their 2021 MLS campaign, and three till the season itself starts on Friday night. There's a busy week in store and especially here at AFTN Towers as we look to bring you as many daily podcasts in the build up to First Kick as we can!

As the Whitecaps readied themselves with two preseason friendlies, the Timbers were going nap in CONCACAF Champions League action and look well ahead of the 'Caps going into Sunday's match. But football is a funny old game. We look at all that and ask Whitecaps head coach Marc Dos Santos and Timbers boss Gio Savarese for some thoughts on where their teams are right now.
