After the Canucks suffer a 21st loss on home ice this season, Matt and Blake are left almost speechless from last night's performance. So instead, the guys focus on the post game comments as Rick Tocchet's frustrations continue, and Quinn Hughes expresses his disappointment in the Canucks' play down the stretch. The guys wonder about the possible return of EP40 this season, but also his relationship with the coach. Patrick Johnston of The Province stops by to briefly discuss the game vs the Kraken, but also gets into the Canucks losing their defensive identity, and then a deep dive into Rick Tocchet's viability for next season, especially if it's alongside centre Elias Pettersson. The Daily Hive's Rob Williams makes his weekly appearance, and goes over some Canucks season ending awards candidates, most notably MVP, most exciting and Unsung hero. He also weighs in on the Tocchet and EP40 storyline, and the risk of apathy from fans and players. All this, plus the Whitecaps stay afloat in their Champions Cup quarterfinal, a former BC Lion retires, and the Jays and M's both get wins.
