This week on Pucks in Deep, out of AIC, we have this years Comeback Player of the Year, Eric Otto. The ECH boys were lucky enough to sit down with the Redshirt Freshmen and discuss his amazing comeback to play division I hockey after battling Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma and beating it! Otto talks about what it was like going through his battle and how it affected both his life and his hockey Career. Otto also goes on to talk about what it means for him to be back in room with the boys and what he is most excited for heading into the second half of the 2021 season. AIC who is currently atop of the Atlantic Hockey Conference will need big contributions from Otto and others to make, what would be their 2nd NCAA tournament appearance in 5 years under head coach Eric Lang. Otto and the ECH Boys go over the importance of eating pucks, getting pucks in deep, and staying healthy during a season masked by Covid.
