Edward Harold Bell committed plenty of crimes against children and it what was his criminal file mainly consisted of until he murdered Larry Dickens on August 24, 1978. After getting arrested, he got out on bond, but no one expected Ed to flee the country for the next 14 years. He was ultimately caught and convicted of Larry's murder in 1993. In 1998, Ed wrote letters describing how he murdered girls in the 70s and sent them to o prosecutors in both Galveston and Harris counties.
