In an effort to have a more WWF-like presentation, this episode of Thunder doesn't see any in-ring action until 17 minutes into the show. Before that they show David Flair mumbling at Arn Anderson, Ric Flair mumbling at Arn Anderson, Ric Flair yelling at Mean Gene Okerland about the night David was conceived, and a clip of Buff Bagwell's in-ring return from Nitro. At least Tori Wilson knew how to keep a scene from crashing and burning. In the main event, we see a preview of what's to come in a post-WCW world when Booker T faces off against Buff Bagwell.
