Needless to say, we talk about his favorite species of all time; the elusive fish of 10,000 casts, the muskellunge. We talk with Sam about his new store, musky tips, tricks, and do’s and don’ts for bringing that casting ratio down. For Sam and his clients, they are the fish of only 200-300 casts, so I think he knows his stuff! 

In his free time, well, Sam fishes of course! When not targeting muskies, he’s chasing smallies or looking for gar on the fly. And if he’s not on the water somewhere, he is writing for his monthly column in @woodsnwaters magazine. Come listen as we discuss the incredible fishery that the James River has to offer.
