Eddie Bell was told about a series of tunnels which ran under the coke works, and it was these tunnels which Eddie felt could have been the ideal place for something like a large predatory animal to hide out in. Taking matters into his own hands, he ventured down into a number of tunnels but found nothing ... until, that is, he stumbled upon one tunnel …
