The Red Sox took 2 of 3 from the Royals in the most crucial series of the season (so far) thanks in part to Masataka Yoshida going on a rampage, and Kenley Jansen returning from an achy back. Romy Gonzalez also went bananas at one point. It was a nice overall series W but that didn't stop Hogdale from giving Kutter Crawford his team leading fourth poop sock of the season.
