Jordan and Bayleigh preview what hopes to be an action-packed offseason for the Boston Red Sox, who started by tendering the qualifying offer to right-hander Nick Pivetta. The team also chose not to extend the same offer to outfielder and team home run leader Tyler O'Neill.
Later, the duo talks about Gerrit Cole's decision to opt-out... but not really opt-out of the final four years of his deal with the New York Yankees before playing a little free-agency roulette.

Jake makes his long awaited return with Derrik and Hunter for another episode of MiLB Talk. Jake isn’t the only big appearance, though. Boston Red Sox prospect and the organization’s MiLB DPOY award winner Nelly Taylor joins the show. Taylor talks about his childhood health issues, his draft story, and more. There is plenty of talk covering his defense, but they also discuss his offensive potential, his speed, and his leadership. We talk about his time in Salem and Greenville, as well as his teammates and what he wants to achieve this offseason.

Matt, Jordan and Kevin recap the playoffs so far. Kevin talks about his offseason betting journey and the Sox offseason outlook. They also discuss the Red Sox Doc on Netflix “The Comeback” and make World Series predictions. Kevin also almost gets fired from the show.Â

MiLB Talk is back as Derrik and Hunter are joined by Boston Red Sox catching prospect Elih Marrero. The son of a Major Leaguer discusses growing up around baseball. The trio argues about food, but find some common ground. Marrero talks about his 2024 performance, his past in the system, and his offseason goals. They also discuss the lost art of manager freakouts, his upcoming marriage, and drills. He talks about the draft, trade deadline, and his teammates. We also learn his favorite pitches and places to play.

MiLB Talk is back as Derrik, Hunter, and Jake (remotely) hand out minor league awards with the help of the listeners. Someone wins multiple awards, and they discuss how unfair it was for the other nominees that Roman Anthony and Kristian Campbell were available as options for certain honors. Unsurprisingly, the award ceremony turns into the two yapping about each player and going off on unrelated tangents. The duo reminisce about their days as Little League baseball players as Derrik brags about his elite speed. Hunter is uncharacteristically mean in this episode, so apologies (not really) for that.
This episode marks the end of the 2024 season for the Boston Red Sox.
Jordan and Brian join together to recap what was the ultimate *mid* season, as the Red Sox finish 81-81.
There were a few important things to note in the final series of the season: Nick Pivetta's likely end to his Red Sox career, Quinn Priester's beginning and the final game of Joe Castiglione's Hall of Fame career as the voice of the Boston Red Sox.
Jordan and Brian also get into some superlatives for the end of the season before each giving their World Series picks ahead of what promises to be an exciting finish to the MLB season, just without the Red Sox.

The final show of the season for the weekday crew. Matt, Doink and Kevin break down the travesty that is the A’s moving out of Oakland. They talk about the Red Sox finally being eliminated and how this is kind of what we expected at the start. They analyzed while Alex Cora would have stayed, and what that might mean for the future of this ballclub. There was alot of offseason talk about what second year Craig Breslow might do, and how many different paths they could take. Matt looks back at the moves that Craig made this season that DID pan out and how we might have lost a playoff spot because we traded Chirs Sale for Vaughn Grimace. The Crew also talked about the announcement that the Red Sox would be revealing a new City Connect Jersey in 2025.

Derrik and Hunter are back for another MiLB Talk (minus Jake). It’s the end of the season for Worcester, as the Red Sox minor league seasons are all officially over. The duo discusses Vaughn Grissom’s season and how he fits into the equation in 2025 and beyond. What’s Kristian Campbell’s health situation? Phillip Sikes and Alex Binelas make their Triple-A debuts. Hunter Dobbins still needs more love. Let’s gush about Roman Anthony more. Hunter gets bullied by some kids and almost gets hit with a baseball. What are their final thoughts on the season?
Literally have no idea what to put for the description of this episode. It was *that* unhinged.
Sox take two of three from Minnesota, Casas hits three homers in a game, Kutter pitched extremely well in Game 3 to help secure the series win.
With six games left, Boston has to go 4-2 to finish above .500 for the first time since 2021.

Jordan is riding solo for this episode as the Boston Red Sox muster up five runs while striking out 33 times against the fourth-place Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field.
The good news? Triston Casas and Trevor Story both homered, Brayan Bello and Tanner Houck were solid, and we got at least one more Martin-to-Kenley shutdown before both veterans hit free agency upon the conclusion of the 2024 season.
The bad news? Everything else kinda sucked. Nick Pivetta gave up three homers, Josh Winckowski tried his schtick of downplaying him not doing his job again and the Duran-Devers one-two punch has become a catalyst for the offensive woes in September.
Later, Jordan offers fellow Pesky Report host Jake his best wishes as he recovers from surgery and suggests the rest of Pesky's listeners to do the same.
