Jordan, Brian, and Jack recap a series win in Cleveland for the Boston Red Sox. The team can’t seem to figure out the opener for Brayan Bello outings, which is beginning to rear its ugly head. However, the offense is waking up, particularly from outfielder Jarren Duran and infielders Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Caleb Durbin. Even though Steven Kwan missed this series for the Guardians, the Red Sox still took two of three from a first-place team, leaving them two games over .500 on the road. If they ever can figure out how to win at Fenway Park, they might be able to right the ship in 2026.

Matt and Isiah breakdown the state of the Red Sox following a series loss to the Atlanta Braves at Fenway. Might consider turning this into a White Sox podcast so we have something to talk about. They hit on friend of the pod David Sandlin’s MLB debut for the White Sox, they hit on Greg Weissert vs Slaten in the finale and tried to make sense of the decision that led to a grand slam. They also talked about the good offensive month that Rafalea has had, as well as positive movement from Duran recently. They talked about how the upcoming salary cap and floor conversations might impact this trade deadline if owners are trying to get ahead of it. They also talked about how good Early and Tolle have been and thats what makes the roster situation so weird, because there’s so much “talent” but it doesn’t translate into wins.
