Finally... FINALLY... The Tuthill Episode!
We're back with a new season, and I wanted to kick this one off with a big bang. What's a bigger bang than a rally driving legend that is just crazy enough to build an 11000rpm aircooled 911, run an ice driving event and has time left over to build a modern take on the Porsche GT1, the Tuthill GT ONE.
More than that though, the company itself carry out restoration builds, the SC RS, the 2.0 cup, and are again, just about mad enough to say yes to (almost) anything!
We get in to Richard's early memories of rolling a VW Beetle in the fields behind where we were sat as we recorded the episode. We talked about him getting politely kicked out of school, all the way through to scaling up from a well respected brand within a small community to a globally renowned business with clients all around the world.
It also, at times, felt and seemed like a job interview.
I genuinely feel like it's one of the best podcast episodes that I've recorded to date. I hugely proud of the progress I've made as a podcaster over the past few years and I truly hope you enjoy listening as much as I have making it.
