Ward Guenther is the founder of Whiskey Jam and the host of the Ward Guenther Show on Apple Music Country. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Ward started his journey in Nashville as a writer and musician. In 2011, Ward founded Whiskey Jam as a full band alternative to the traditional acoustic rounds in town. Whiskey Jam has since logged over 1,000 shows, with over 3,500 artists.
On this episode, Ward shares his journey, from moving to Nashville and playing open-mics to hitting the road with touring artists, the origin story of Whiskey Jam, his plans for the future and so much more.
