Daniel Lake is a contributor to Decibel Magazine, but as of late, he has been more in the public eye due to his book, USBM.  The book dives into the motivations, histories, and music of a number of heavy hitters in the United States Black Metal scene, and I wanted to learn more about his process of researching and writing this gem.
