Tom Tischler, born in 1947, is one of my biggest influences as an artist. He's a full time sculptor and still going strong. He's also my Dad. After the last appearance on this podcast several years ago, Tom is back by popular demand. This time we dive deep into his artistic process of how he creates jaw dropping, EPIC scale bronze statues of animals, depicting several different species, both extinct and extant, in a realistic style. Tom is continually pushing the boundaries with his work, striving to find an edge with his production methods and continuing to hone his craft.
