Today on RÚV English Radio, the Canadians of Icelandic heritage who are on a search for history's lost Vikings.

Quest for the Lost Vikings (https://superchannel.ca/series/quest-for-the-lost-vikings) is a new documentary TV series about modern day explorers on a mission to discover the truth about their Viking heritage. Winnipeggers Johann Sigurdson, David Collette, and Mackenzie Collette grew up listening to stories about their Viking ancestors living in North America over 1,000 years ago. Their research revealed there may have been Viking trade and travel for another 500 years before Columbus “discovered” America and so the family took their experience to uncover the truth.

Darren spoke to David and Johann about their amazing journey.
