"The Boy in the Box" is one of the United States' most infamous true crime mysteries. Sometimes called "America's Unknown Child", our story begins in 1957 when the body of a young child was found in an abandoned cardboard box on the side of a rural road in Fox Chase, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Despite an extensive police investigation spanning many different cities and states and many promising leads, the identity of the boy remains a mystery to this day.
