National Geographic Explorers are mapping newly found shallow-water hydrothermal vents. Just 11 meters deep, they offer a rare window into early microbial life. The project received a Meridian Grant from the National Geographic Society.
Commercial diver and scuba instructor Erlendur Bogason and Geir Borg from Astrid Climate Change have worked with the explorers on the project, including Skylar Tibbits. Darren spoke to all three.
