By way of background, a private foundation is a type of charitable organization that is typically established by a high-net-worth individual, family or corporation to support charitable activities.

Private foundations must be run properly otherwise they may face adverse taxes. There are 5 excise taxes unique to private foundations which could result in crippling taxes which would shutter any foundations doors. This webinar will cover the rules, their application, the exceptions to the rules and the penalties associated with them.
