Today in America, there is a quiet taking, a theft if you will. This occurs every day in every state. Property Taxes.
You know something, if it hadn't been for the run away Assessments Post Covid in my home town, I wouldn't have arrived at this conclusion. But they did go hog wild on assessing property upwards of 30% year over year. Took too big a bite and now, many many people are saying hold on! Is this even Constitutional?
Answer:  NO.
Property tax is a taking, and it is not right that you should have to rent your land from your government. How are you any different than a sharecropper, or a surf under the heel of a Feudal Lord?
Think this is hyperbole? Don't make your next two tax payments and get back to me.
