ABOUT THE EPISODE

Inspired by the #HowSheWrestles stories on twitter, todays episode is about the story of Katrin Pokalyukhin. Kat is a rising senior at Stevens Institute of Technology. She was introduced to the sport of wrestling in high school and decided she wanted to continue her career in college. After being accepted to Stevens she took the initiative to reach out to Head Coach Joe Favia about walking onto the men's team. She was the 1st woman wrestler at Stevens and has help grow women's wrestling at the collegiate level in the tri-state area.
