Norine Ambrose (Executive Director of Cows and Fish https://cowsandfish.org/ ) and John Anderson (BC Rancher  & chair of the Nicola Watershed Community Roundtable)  join Co-Host Bree Patterson (VBP+ Coordinator from British Columbia) to talk about managing water as it relates to the VBP+ pillar of the environment! Riparian area management, and the benefits that livestock can bring to those areas and managing the risks around that. Also too much water (Flood?), not enough water (Drought) and how the best time to plan is well ahead of the issue coming up. 

VBP+ is an approved certification body for the Canadian Roundtable for Canadian Beef (CRSB). Beef operations that are certified by VBP+ are also recognized as meeting the CRSB Sustainable Beef Production Standard and are eligible to participate in certified sustainable sourcing programs.
