In 2009, Jack Grigsby was, for the most part, enjoying the retired life. At the age of 72, he had some health problems but was doing okay. His divorce from his second wife, Cathie Grigsby, was also set to be settled that summer. Unfortunately, Jack would be shot and killed in his home before then.
