But before we pop open the champagne, we should first talk about this week's guest: Chicago-based cartoonist and illustrator Kevin Budnik. Renowned for his autobio series I Hope This Finds You and It's OK To Be Sad, Kevin is also a solid friend in the scene and it's embarrassing it took this long to have him finally on the show. We dive into how and why he went from posting diary comics every day to transitioning to Patreon to share his work, his time at Columbia College, his upcoming book and how it will be vastly different from his prior output, and how much the small press world has changed since ye old tumblr days.
