In the early morning hours of February 14, 2000, 9-year-old Asha Degree leaves her home never to be seen again. A parent's literal worst nightmare. Even when some of Asha's belongings start popping up around town a couple of days later, it still does not bring investigators any closer to finding Asha, and it leaves them more questions than answers. It has been 22 years since she disappeared but her family and hometown of Shelby, NC still have hope that she will one day return.
