GUEST: ShiftWA.org's Randy Pepple explains SB 5767 in the WA Legislature which will "tax" the "annual compensation paid to certain highly compensated hospital employees." Pepple says this is all about Democrats needing to pay off their supporters in labor unions--specifically hospital workers unions. Pepple concludes, the majority Democrats are "weaponizing the tax code against people they don't like". SB 5767 was just proposed this week by Democratic state senators from the Washington peninsula, Christine Rolfes (D-Bremerton) and Emily Randall (D-Bainbridge).
