We’ve got Brendon Anthony, VP of Big Loud Texas, in the studio talking about this Sunday’s Band Together Texas benefit at the Moody Center — raising money for Central Texas flood relief.
Brendon’s no stranger to the Texas music scene — he’s a fiddle player who toured for years with Pat Green, later served as Director of the Texas Music Office under Governor Abbott, and now helps shape the future of Texas country at Big Loud. He says when the call came to pull musicians together for flood relief, it wasn’t even a question — he was in.
The lineup is massive: Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, Cody Johnson, Ronnie Dunn, Lyle Lovett, Wade Bowen, Jack Ingram, Ryan Bingham, Lukas Nelson, Jon Randall, Randy Rogers Band, and Dylan Gossett… plus appearances from Matthew McConaughey, Dennis Quaid, Mack Brown, Emmanuel Acho, Colt McCoy, Vince Young, Roger Clemens, and host Chris Harrison.
It’s more than a concert — it’s Texas showing up for Texas.
