  • Dunkin' Blood Drive

    Contact Unapologetically Erik

We have all seen and heard about the desperate need for blood donations. Twelve years ago I saw first hand how important it is to donate blood. Without it, my wife wouldn't be alive today. There is a blood drive being held in Hartford, CT on May 20th from 8:30am to 6:30pm and Dunkin Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats. This event is hosted by NBC Connecticut and donors will be given two ticket vouchers for an upcoming game as well as one ticket to Six Flags New England for the 2025 season. I get into the details as well as what happened with my wife and how blood donors saved her life. Thank you to first responders and to all who donate the precious life source of blood, because without you, I'd be a widow.

  • CT Blames Homeschooling for CT Failures

    Contact Unapologetically Erik

Earlier this year, a man was discovered to have been held captive by his step-mother for over two decades in the city of Waterbury, CT, sparking debate and questions over how this man fell though the cracks within the system and how to prevent others from having a similar fate. Recently, some have claimed the reason that this man, and other children, have fallen through the cracks is due to lack of oversight and regulations with homeschooling. Others blame DCF. I get into some of the comments made, what homeschooling regulations there are in Connecticut and of course my opinion on the entire thing. Enjoy.

  • Maine School Teacher Advocates for Violence

    Contact Unapologetically Erik

I was given a tip about unhinged Facebook posts made by an English teacher at Waterville Senior High School in Waterville, Maine. I was sent screen shots of what this educator had posted. I read these unhinged posts as well as the response from the Secret Service. In these posts, this educator advocated for political violence and even doubled down on these statements. There is a real problem in this country when it comes to political violence and having someone who teaches children advocating for it, is an even bigger problem. Enjoy.

  • Your Debt, Your Probelm

    Contact Unapologetically Erik

Payments towards student loans are set to re-start this week, if they haven't already. Politicians have turned repayment of student loans into a political issue. Student loans are a heavy burden on tens of thousands of households. However, is eliminating someone's student debt and putting the financial burden onto taxpayers the solution? I get into the issues with student loans, compounding interest, why your debt is your problem and more.

  • CT HB7033 - Follow Up

    Contact Unapologetically Erik

Recently I did and episode where I discussed CT HB7033, a house bill in Connecticut which is designed to protect homeless individuals from harassment, however some of the verbiage within the bill has given some pause. I looked a little more into the bill and I have more questions. CT residents, take notes...we don't want to become San Francisco.

  • CT HB7033 - Homeless Protection

    Contact Unapologetically Erik

There is a house bill in Connecticut, HB 7033, which is aimed at protecting the homeless population in Connecticut from harassment or arrest for doing such things as eating, standing or even sleeping in public areas. However, the line that stuck out to me was "life sustaining activities". I question, what exactly qualifies as "life sustaining activity" and how will that affect the public? I get into that and more! Enjoy.

  • Democrats Demand Return of Criminals

    Contact Unapologetically Erik

Deportations are already a hot button issue. However, a question I have is why would anyone want someone who is a known violent criminal back in their country? Several democrat leaders have not only spoken out against the deportation of criminal aliens, some actually left the country in support of criminal illegal alien gang members after they we deported from the United States. I get into this, activist judges and more. Buckle up, I get loud.

  • Wage Gap Hoax

    Contact Unapologetically Erik

Once again, math is hard for some people. The "wage gap" has been debunked time and time again, yet, politicians love to keep beating that old dead horse. I get into why it's complete nonsense and what the numbers really mean and why there is a perceived gap.
