FEMA is the agency that is "responsible" for jumping into action when disaster strikes here in America. Their response to the disaster that was left in the wake of Hurricane Helene has been laughable. The amount of money being offered to victims of this storm is offensive. There are rumors of officials stopping people from helping, threatening arrest and even confiscating supplies. I get into this and more! Enjoy.

As of midnight, October 1st, longshoreman up and down the Eastern Coast are on strike. Goods will no longer be moved. I get spicy about the president of the union, my distain for unions and how much worse this will be in regards to the shortages we saw just a few short years ago. Last week, Hurricane Helene, wreaked havoc in the Southeastern portion of the United States. Devastating flooding has ravaged towns and even completely destroyed towns. Hundreds of thousands are without power and water and will be for months. Infrastructure, gone. Roads, gone. Bridges, gone. Hundreds dead, thousands are still missing. The videos I have seen are heartbreaking. In this episode I give information on some places you can contact to offer your help and groups that are helping. In this episode, I discuss depression and suicidal thoughts. Many people, especially young adults and kids, deal with a lot and are overly stressed. From politics, to work, to money, to bullying, to having to leave your childhood behind and become an adult, it gets overwhelming and for many, this leads to depression and for some, thoughts of suicide. For those of you that do not understand what it is like to be depressed or to have thoughts of ending ones life, or if you are depressed and are facing dark times, this episode is for you. This is something I can personally relate to. I get personal and emotional in this episode. I talk about things I have had buried for over 30 years. I talk about my personal 5+ year battle with depression and the night I almost faded to black. 

If you or someone you know is battling depression or are experiencing thoughts of suicide, please, please seek help. You do not need to face the darkness alone. You are worth it.
