Captain Chrissy Lovitt, a local and seasoned mariner out of Lahaina Harbor, and her story of how she saved two 5- and 6-year-old children has spread all across the news. However, in this podcast, we wanted to go deeper and really understand what happened at the harbor and the rest of the town that day. This way, we can truly grasp an idea of what Lahaina is going through and how they are picking up the pieces today. Captain Chrissy herself is a significant part of the healing process. Not only is she housing several victims of the fire who lost their own homes, but she's also actively working to get another boat, so she can begin running much-needed supplies to her people. Let's hear this story in her own words.
