In this hour, music critic, Chris Riemenschneider of the Star Tribune discusses the Minnesota History Center's new exhibit that gives you an all-access pass to First Avenue where you'll hear great stories that have come out of that venue. At the bottom of the hour, Courtney Harrness, Executive Director & program lead of Get Summer at YMCA joins Esme to discuss his program that will give thousands of teens across the Twin Cities a free membership to the Y thanks to a grant from the Richard M Schulze Family Foundation.

When a prisoner gets family visits, it has shown to reduce recidivism. Rep. Jamie Becker (DFL District 42B) joins Esme to discuss a piece of legislation that would make it possible to fund a two-year pilot program that would provide transportation for child visits to Shakopee women's prison. Later, Rep. Kelly Morrison (DFL District 33B) and James Wolfin, a grad student from the U of M's Bee Lab discuss a new programmed approved by legislation this week that benefits the Rusty Patched bumble bee that is on the brink of extinction.

Justin Halverson, financial professional with Great Waters Financial discuss what the China tariff means for consumers. How will effect cost of goods, farmers, and 401Ks. Dr. Lynn Bielski, Asst. Professor of speech pathology audiology at Ball State University comes on air with Esme to talk about hearing loss and what you can do to protect your hearing.
