This last week we jumped on a call with Mas, the CEO of Queue.gg, to talk about their VOD review website and coaching tool. Having built the company up from the ground as both the CEO and engineer, he had lots to talk about regarding the timeline of Queue and its trajectory for the future. Queue.gg is only a 2 man team, so we also learned about how approach a huge market with a small group of employees. Our latest interview had us going in depth with Dazl, the host of the Twitch show Off The Wall, and also with Jake from the Console Gaming League. Ben's conversation with them focused around the esports console scene, talking about its growth, its strengths, and its future. They talked about the unique games and genres that are at the forefront of the competitive scene, as well as which games are looking to possibly take over the scene in the future. They also combated popular stereotypes about the hierarchy involving consoles and PC's. They are both a testament that console gaming is alive and well!

sonofpaint, Liberty University's Gaming Club President, came on to talk to us about how he runs the largest student run organization on his campus. He gave us the details on tournaments, leadership, and shared his experiences growing the program from the ground up. While this might sound similar to Joe Rudy's interview from episode 12, sonofpaint gives us the "prequel" to the story of Coker College's established esports program. From struggles to shining moments, this episode will appeal to those at universities who might seem far away from having an esports program.
