Spring has officially sprung! And that means my Solar Return is upon us. When the Sun returns to the exact spot in the sky where it was when you took your first breath, you experience your solar return, aka your birthday. 

The Sun entered Aries on Sunday and a new zodiacal year has officially begun. But before you get too excited, we still have Mercury caught in the waves of Pisces flow. But with Mars square Uranus you might finally get some movement on whatever felt stuck in 2021. Mars is the action taker, currently in innovative Aquarius, and Uranus is the disruptor or the liberator, currently in earth-bound Taurus.

Feeling foggy, spacey, caught in a time warp? Yup! It’s Pisces season, but not for much longer. Do you smell that? It’s love and commitment in the air this Valentine’s week! The Full Moon arrives in the sign of the heart, Leo. And on the same day, Venus meets Mars in the sign of commitment, Capricorn. This means that making long-term commitments to other people and yourself is just going to be a lot easier. Use your logic early in the week, because by the weekend the Sun will enter Pisces and your emotions will be taking the driver’s seat. If you’re feeling all the feels and simultaneously feeling so over it all, well then, you’re human. This week started with the Full Moon in Cancer and then we made a hard left into Aquarius season, a time for emotional detachment and gathering a rational birds-eye view of the situation at hand. Not to mention Uranus stationed to go direct. Did you feel the electric current of change on Tuesday? That was him, along with the nodes of fate, changing signs for the first time in 18 months!

It’s that time again! Mercury retrogrades in Aquarius on Friday while in a square to tech ruler Uranus. Back up your phone, expect miscommunications, and give yourself the extra 5 minutes to get to your appointments. This week has a lot of Neptune activation adding a level of confusion and fatigue to the Mercury slow down. Consider this your cosmic permission slip to stay in bed. This weekend, you’ll have lots of support from the planets in looking at your deepest, darkest feelings. The Sun joins Pluto on Sunday and on Monday the 17th, the Full Moon in Cancer arrives. Let the ugly tears flow.
