Essential Astrocast

This Full Moon in Aries packs a punch. With help from some of the goddess asteroids, you might find that a long-fought struggle is finally resolved. On the other hand, you might see some new conflicts heat up. That's because this lunation kicks off eclipse season.

Twice a year the eclipses create a portal of energy that fast tracks the changing currents in our lives. Put aside your desire to control the outcome and open up to receiving the messages the Universe has to share with you.

Mercury stations to resume forward motion. We may have had Venus and Mercury retrograde for much of the summer, but things have still been moving super fast! Usually retrogrades encourage a slowdown, but with Mercury in his favorite sign of Virgo, the past 3 weeks have felt jam-packed.

Hopefully, it has helped you tie up lots of loose ends and bring new systems to your work or household. Making order out of chaos is Virgo’s gift to the world.

Right before Mercury stations the New Moon in Virgo arrives on Sept 14th bringing you one last manifestation opportunity for the summer of 2023. The next few lunations will be eclipses, so plant your intentions for the remainder of the year in the fertile ground of this New Moon.

We’re still in the midst of Mars retrograde in Gemini, and on December 29th the slowdown gets amplified by Mercury retrograding in Capricorn. I know, it’s not what you want to hear heading into the New Year. Take this Capricorn season to reflect, slow down, and feel your body. This week the big news is the Full Moon in Gemini conjunct Mars, currently retrograde. Emotions will be running high, but don't worry if you say something you didn't mean, you can always take it back. Gemini is a changeable sign and with Mars retrograde in the sign of the twins whatever decisions you make now will need to be revisited in January, and maybe even again in March.
