ETERNAL WORD OF LIFE MINISTRY (EWLM)

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Extraordinary things happen during ordinary circumstances and events of life. The transformation (whether negative or positive) of the world will never happen as an extraordinary event but a cummulation of ordinary events of daily human activities. The world is gradually drifting into 'hell' by the daily activities of human beings of our days. We must recognise the signs of our time and begin to heed the voice of God and act upon the loud warnings of imminent doom threatening the existence of the human family for it will all happen as in the days of Noah, unless we respond positively to the promptings of God and promptly so.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Everybody is "wise" according to his/her standards. More so, various disciplines, occupations, epochs, civilisations, races, regions and professions are often repectively guided and ruled by a sort of "wisdom" peculiar to each of them. Such wisdom is transient. However, there is wisdom that is eternal and ever true; the Wisdom of God or Divine Wisdom. This is the true Wisdom that keeps you safe from the errors of your generation and causes you to excel as God desires it for you to. Be guided by this Divine Wisdom.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Every human person is a beneficiaries of God's benevolence. To that effect, we all owe God the debt of gratitude. The best way to express our gratitude to God is through sincere repentance and conversation and subsequently a total self dedication to God in righteousness. It's only at this point that any form of material expression of gratitude to God makes any meaning to God.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

The world is fast becoming grossly pragmatic-inclined to the extent that the virtue of patience and hope are becoming obsolete in many parts of the world. Consequently, many people are recreating God in their own image and likeness or in line with the figment of their imagination. Though God may seem to delay in coming through for us as at when desired, He never fails to reward His faithful servants. Keep keeping on in God and with God. He'll surely vindicate and reward you.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

By one's actions and inactions one can make others more vulnerable to falling into sin. Those responsible for circumstances that leave people with options that necessarily make people prone to sin in their quest to survive share in the guilt of the sins of those who fall into sins courtesy of such sin-prone circumstances created by them.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

It's naturally expected that those who are specialists in a particular field of human endeavour should be wiser, smarter and more competent in that field than those who are not specialists in the said field. Today, Jesus Christ challenges believers to be more dogged, advanced and consistent in the things of God and the life of virtue than unbelievers are in evil. We must endeavour to make the life of virtue more appealing and relevant in our world of today than the ungodly are able to sell ungodliness and vices in the world.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

The world is experiencing a collapse in justice, morality, family life, love, peace and a host of other healthy societal values. This has led to a lot of hopelessness, desperation, frustration and anger invading people across the globe. Amidst all these, the chirch stands as the sign of hope to humanity as she has always been. However, as Christians and members of the church, we must stay faithful to the mandate of the church and continue building ourselves on the foundation established by Jesus Christ and the apostles in order to faithfully manifest this hope to the world.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

We're all indebted to God and to one another and the debt we owe them is love. In fact, love is the supreme law as in loving according to the mind of God we fulfil the law.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Though human anatomy shows that the various parts of the human body differ in shape, size, function and frequency of use, they form a single whole or one unit and the cumulative roles of the individual parts/members of the body make for the comprehensive, holistic and integral wellbeing of the body as a unit. This explains why it's generally believed that united we stand and divided we fall. There is unity in diversity and diversity in unity. Let's therefore explore the rich and huge treasure hidden in our diversity to build a healthy and safe world for all.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Philippians 4:4-9; Psalms 94, 103 and 126 from Wednesday 1st to Thursday 9th November, 2023.
