    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
The call to follow God unreservedly, consistently, persistently and uncompromisingly in the path of tighteousness and peace is full of uncertainties, trials, challenges and difficulties. Nevertheless, amidst all these and even more God tells us; fear not, I'm your shield: our reward will be very great. Trust God; He is willing, faithful and able to fulfil His promises.

  • Tue. June 27th, 2023 Homily by fadapeterbenson: WE'RE KINSMEN.
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
Dearly beloved, we're kinsmen; coming from one Creator and Father. Though there will always be a reason for conflict as we journey through life, we must understand we're one and allow this understanding to guide us in the handling of our conflicts. The undoing of humanity is not in the presence of conflict but in the handling, or rather the mishandling, of these conflicts. Come what may, always remember he/she is your kinsman/kinswoman. Let love lead and God's will prevail!

Build up your treasure base in heaven where you'll enjoy true comfort forever in eternity rather than laying up treasures for yourself here on earth where you stand the high risk of losing everything. The best way to secure your future is to stay secured in God through a virtuous life.

  • Thur. June 22nd, 2023 Homily by fadapeterbenson: PRAY LIKE THIS...
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
Jesus Himself gives us the basis for a good prayer. Beyond being the ideal model or pattern of true Christian prayer, it is further designed to help keep us in the path of righteousness, peace and blessings. Be guided against every false prayer and Christian living as these would only increase one's sorrow.

  • Wed. June 21st, 2023 Homily by fadapeterbenson: BE NOT A PUBLIC-SHOW CHRISTIAN.
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
As Christians, we're called to serve God in sincerity of heart and live a life worthy of emulation. We must avoid the danger of living a lifestyle targeted at impressing others and gaining human approval. Being a Christian shouldn't be reduced to a mere public show or social life. Be an authentic Christian irrespective of life circumstances.

  • Tue. June 20th, 2023 Homily by fadapeterbenson: GENEROSITY PAYS.
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
Every act of genuine generosity pays; the generosity coming from a right disposition of heart. Generosity is not the public show of wealth or the giving out of one's excess resources in a bid to get disposed of them. Genuine act of generosity is carried out in a bid to share in the pain of the needy/beneficiary and/or the quest to participate in God's act of kindness towards the needy without expecting reward or recognition of any kind. Such generosity is inspired by love and communicates God's love. This is generosity done in imitation of God's benevolence, and it pays.

  • Mon. June 19th, 2023 Homily by fadapeterbenson: NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
God gives us the grace to be saved at all times. However, this free gift must never be taken for granted. On the contrary, the question of our salvation must be treated as a matter of urgency and immediate necessity. In fact, no matter what comes our way in life, our salvation must be treated with utmost priority and guarded jealousy.
