ETERNAL WORD OF LIFE MINISTRY (EWLM)

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Reconciliation with God simply implies the restoration of the sinner to an immaculate and innocent state of life. By this fact, the individual becomes a child of God who is in full communion with God. Once reconciled, we're charged with the responsibility of remaining in this immaculate and innocent state in virtue and to be unto others an agent of this reconciliation, reconciling others with God.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

In celebrating the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we celebrate the love of God for humanity. Just as God's love for humanity is expressed in concrete terms in Jesus Christ, we too are charged with the responsibility of making God's love concretely felt and experienced by our fellow human beings through us as our heart ought to be made like unto the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Though religions rituals, ceremonies, gestures, actions and words are imperative and indispensable parts of every religion, when they are devoid of the presence of the Holy Spirit (in Christianity particularly) they are empty and meaningless. Our Christian life must be animated, inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit for He is the source of our enlightenment and the one who guides us into the truth of the will of God.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Though the law has no power to save humanity from eternal condemnation, our desire and actual efforts to do the will of God as His true children brings about our fulfilling the law and the prophets. This explains why Jesus Christ tells us in today's Gospel that He has come not to abolish the law and the prophets but to fulfil them. As God's children, following the example of Jesus Christ, let us seek each day to do the will of God in our quest to remain daily and eternally in communion with Him and by so doing we shall be fulfilling the law and the prophets.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

You and I are indeed the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Christ Jesus is our elder brother and model in this special mission. Hence, to be truly Christians and as such, to retain our saltiness and preserve our light, we must model our lifestyle after His and anchor our existence in Him. We're called today to add the needed flavour to the human society and provide the light needed to save the world from the darkness of error and sin.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

We're indeed comforted by God in all our afflictions so as to become sources of comfort to others who are afflicted themselves using the help andante comfort we ourselves have received from God. In comforting others, we create a society in which we're in turn comforted by God using our fellow human beings. In this way, we create a world of mutual comfort even amidst the trials, afflictions and challenges of life.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Indeed faith without good work is dead and prayer without righteousness is empty words. In as much as we may have great faith in God to do exploits, as God's children, we must have good works to show. Our faith and prayer are good but best when accompanied with clarity, almsgiving and righteousness.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Indeed, there are a lot of things keeping us away from experiencing and enjoying the glory of God's light in our lives. We're, to that extent, blind and out of tune with the glory of God in our lives. To experience and enjoy the glory of the light of God, we must live our lives guided by the Word of God.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 125, 126, 147 and Isaiah 40:26-31 from 1st to 9th June, 2023.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Cry to God and call upon His name in your needs and trials and God will come through for you. St. Paul tells us in his letter to the Romans (10:13) for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Similarly, God assures us in Psalm 50:15; "and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Our God is ever faithful and too faithful to fail. He won't fail you in your needs.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 125, 126, 147 and Isaiah 40:26-31 from 1st to 9th June, 2023.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Fulfilling our responsibilities towards God do not negate our responsibilities towards the state just as we must make efforts to deliver on our responsibilities towards our families and communities just as we must make all efforts to fervently deliver on our religious responsibilities. As God's children, we must be consistent in our quest to meet up with both our religious and civil responsibilities.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 125, 126, 147 and Isaiah 40:26-31 from 1st to 9th June, 2023.
