After finishing his playing career at Ohio University, Ethan had zero plans to ever get into coaching. However, the baseball gods had other plans. He went back home to become a substitute teacher and ended up coaching the JV baseball team at the high school with his dad for three years. After that he was able to get into coaching college baseball at the JUCO level and steadily climbed the coaching ladder to the division 1 level. He talks about some of the challenged that are at a school with a smaller budget and how you can still be creative and get just as much done. Ethan also dives into his hitting philosophy and what he looks for in potential recruits.
