When a series of ICU deaths associated with abnormally high levels of fentanyl occur at Mount Carmel West between 2015 and 2018, Ohio State Police and Mount Carmel Health System become weary of ICU physician Dr. William Husel. Four years later he is acquitted of all 14 counts of murder.

This week we discuss the unfortunate case of Linda McDougal who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in May 2022. In light of this tragic diagnosis, she got a double mastectomy at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota only to find out 48 hours after it that she never actually had cancer.

This week, our case covers the malpractice case of Yale's Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility clinic brought forth in 2021 by seven different women on the grounds of failing to follow mandated pharmacy protocols and civil allegations of medical assault and battery and medical malpractice. As the story unfolds, we try to piece together the puzzle of just how one nurse had been getting high off Yale's own fentanyl supply without anyone knowing for months.
