Homily from the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. Jesus was sent to save the world. What does that mean? It means he was sent to show us the way out of the trap of our sin. We must follow him to become free.

It's crippling effects keep us from giving everything to Jesus, from telling others about Jesus, and even from asking Jesus if he is calling us to a celibate vocation. Yet we're made to follow him without fear and with deep trust in the Shepherd's providential care.

Homily from the 3rd Sunday in Easter. It's clear from all of the post-resurrection Gospel passages that Jesus wants us to encounter him in a real way, crucified and risen from the dead. He especially wants us to encounter him in the Holy Mass. So we need to learn how to better prepare ourselves for the time of worship and how to look and listen for him while we're there.

Homily from the 2nd Sunday in Easter. The old saying, "There's power in numbers," proves true in our first reading as we see the Apostles beginning to spread the Gospel. They become more powerful as they come fully to life.
