Homily from the 1st Sunday in Lent. Adam and Eve were tempted by the serpent in the garden. They were made to think that their Creator was not also their Father, and they fell. Jesus, on the other hand, did not allow his thoughts to become twisted, and he fought off the temptations of the devil. We, too, are to recall our Father's love and stand strong against temptation.
